Needle Adjuster Function for multiple Needles
Flexible and highly customizable functions
The needle adjuster is a device that eliminates the need for re-teaching after a needle change,
but is also possible with a single needle sensor for multiple needles.
In this video, the needle tips are bent for clarity.
However, even a slight deviation in the clearance—the distance from the needle tip to the surface of the workpiece—
after needle replacement can result in inaccurate dispense of the material.
It is possible to register up to 5 needles, and it's also possible to register more than that; we've handled cases with up to 10 needles in the past.
This function is available for Cartesian as well as desktop robots.
