Janome's Cartesian Robot Deburs Metal Parts
The JC-3 Series has a new job!
Initially developed for screw tightening and dispensing applications, Janome's JC-3 Series Cartesian Robot has the memory capacity for multiple programs and a variety of uses. In the demonstration video shown here, the JC-3 works as an “Automatic Deburring Device”. For die-cast or fashioned metal parts, the deburring process is essential for good quality. Giving this job over to a robot is efficient and safer than manual work, as it protects workers from harmful metal dust and swarf.
The JC-3 Series Cartesian Robot comes as a package set including both the robot and a dedicated controller with application specific system software built-in.
