Slip rings with low starting torque from JINPAT

Usually, small slip rings like the capsule single-wire friction pairs have lower starting torques.

However, when purchasing or customizing such products, most customers do not consider the starting torque requirements. Therefore, when manufacturing standard and customized slip rings, manufacturers usually do not deliberately pursue lower starting torques. Only a small portion of slip rings required for special equipment need low starting torques when customized. Nevertheless, for the industry with a high customization rate like customized slip rings, meeting niche customization needs is still very important. Therefore, in JINPAT' product database, over 90% of slip rings are customized products.

JINPAT recently updated a customized hollow shaft slip ring, with the model number LPT020-0405-02S. It is a relatively simple product, integrating only 4 channels of 5A current paths and 2 channels of signal paths. Through testing, the starting torque of this slip ring is much lower than that of the hollow shaft full series standard products and ordinary customized models, at less than 0.1NM. This is a very low torque for a hollow shaft slip ring, and only the JINPAT' large through-hole high-speed through-hole series products have similar torques.

JINPAT' high-speed large through-hole hollow shaft series slip rings are specially developed for medium to large equipment such as centrifuges. This series of products has multiple models, and all products have torques of below 0.1NM. Among them, the design working speeds of representative models such as LPT060-1204-0201-04S and LPT060-0210-06S are 5000rpm and 7000rpm, respectively, with the highest instantaneous limit speed reaching nearly ten thousand revolutions. However, due to safety considerations, these slip rings do not support long-term operation under such extreme speed conditions, as this may seriously damage the friction pairs of the slip rings, thereby affecting the product life.
