Miniature and Ultra-Miniature SDI Ethernet Signal Integrated Slip Rings

Miniature and Ultra-Miniature SDI Ethernet Signal Integrated Slip Rings

Miniature and ultra-miniature SDI Ethernet signal integrated slip rings are a type of versatile or multi-module integrated rotary device. These slip rings often encompass various combinations, such as power-signal integration, signal-power fluid-gas integration, power-signal fiber-optic integration, power-signal and high-frequency signal integration, and more. As pioneers in the industry, JINPAT possesses formidable technical expertise in the development of multifunctional integrated slip rings.

Among the products developed by JINPAT, the capsule slip rings have the broadest application range. They are divided into three series based on their varying diameters: LPC medium-sized series, LPM miniature series, and LPMS ultra-miniature series. Due to their wide application scope, the total production volume of standard and custom models of capsule slip rings far surpasses that of other types of slip rings. Building upon the foundation of the capsule products, JINPAT has developed precision integrated slip rings with an extensive range of model numbers. However, owing to their smaller size, these precision slip rings might offer slightly fewer functionalities compared to larger products.

JINPAT LPMS custom multi-channel slip rings can employ twisted-pair cables and more complex grouping methods to achieve the transmission of common computer signals, such as Ethernet signals and USB signals. Additionally, it's possible to customize ultra-small slip rings to support the transmission of industrial control signals. JINPAT LPMS slip rings support the transmission of up to 30 different types of signals. In terms of transmitting high-definition video signals, JINPAT has developed SDI slip rings to meet the demand. For instance, the LPMS-08D-0401-E2 is the smallest-diameter Ethernet signal integrated slip ring developed by JINPAT (φ5.5mm×13.5mm, weighing less than 10g), likely the smallest-diameter gigabit Ethernet signal slip ring available in the market. The LPMS-08D can also be improved to accommodate 1-channel USB 2.0 and 1-channel gigabit Ethernet versions.

In the realm of ultra-miniature slip rings, SDI signals are commonly utilized. Such slip rings can be installed on optical systems of small-scale military and police equipment for signal and power transmission. Among the products developed by JINPAT, the LPMS-12U (φ6.5mm×17.4mm) based on the standard slip ring is the most representative. Typical products include LPS-12U-0202-05S-SD1, LPMS-12U-0901-SD1, and LPMS-12U-HD01-08S, among others. These slip rings incorporate unique fiber coating technology to reduce electrical noise and wear. Additionally, they utilize military-grade gold-plating surface treatment to ensure prolonged product lifespan. They can transmit up to 30 signal types, including USB, HDMI, SDI, Ethernet, and RS422, while also supporting 360-degree rotation. Customers can select slip ring sizes based on their specific needs.
