Introduction to the latest technology of JINPAT high-power integrated collector ring conductive slip ring box

High power collector ring, also known as integrated slip ring or collector ring. Mainly used in large equipment, slip ring box refers to a square shaped slip ring with high power transmission capability. These products mostly use carbon brush friction pairs, so they are often referred to as collector rings by some manufacturers.

As an explorer in the slip ring industry, JINPAT also has strong technical strength in the field of carbon brush slip rings. For high-power collector rings, products with higher voltage and higher single current have relatively higher manufacturing difficulty. Unlike many collector rings on the market that are directly cast with electric wood, high-power collector rings from JINPAT often adopt an empty frame structure. When transmitting power, the carbon brush comes into contact with the copper ring, generating a large amount of heat. In order to ensure good heat dissipation, we will make the collector ring an overhead structure, similar to the frame structure of a tower. When this type of collector ring needs to transmit signals, fiber optic slip rings are added to enable the collector ring to transmit both current and power while also transmitting data.

At present, JINPAT has successfully delivered high-power collector rings, including a super giant with a single current of 4000A, a total product volume of nearly 10m ³, and a packaging volume of over 13m ³, as well as high-power through hole collector rings with a single current of only 1000VAC but a transmission power of 1MW. The former has been in use for many years, while the latter 1 megawatt product has recently passed various navigation tests such as DP and FEMA.
