Cable reels are used to supply power to movable equipment for automatic winding of flexible power or control cables (also: hoses for gases and liquids)

Cable reel can be divided into spring drive type cable reel and motor drive type cable reel. Spring drive type cable reel is used for rolling up and releasing of control cable, which is mainly used in crane, stacking device or wastewater handling technology, etc. Helical spring driving drum is more reliable and profitable, it can replace each other with electrical drum. The main features of this slip ring are: shock resistant, high power, high protection grade. Through bore series, fiber optical rotary joints series and hybrid rotary joint are optional.

Standard slip rings are rated for 500 Volt AC and 600 Volt DC, Control Rings in block system for 230 Volts. Collector Ring Ampere capacities are for 100% nominal rating. JINPAT through hole slip ring with stable performance are widely used in cable reels.
