Technical Breakthrough In Radar Slip Ring

High frequency slip ring and through hole slip ring

In the modern radar technology, many types of equipment need to transmit frequency rate in a few MHz to hundreds of megahertz range of medium and high frequency signal between fixed part and the rotating part. Medium frequency slip ring could complete the task of switching device. Common medium frequency slip rings in the radar technology could have through bore type and hybrid rotary joint type (electrical +high frequency).

Radar antenna Slip Rings:

Specification (Product Model: LPHF-01-10S )

Single channel high frequency signal, 10 circuits pass electrical signal

50rpm working speed,240VAC/DC

0-26.5GHz frequency range

Metal housing material and contact materials

Cable length and joint are optional

Of course our LPT series through bore slip rings are also widely used in base rotating table of radar.LPT080 series with 80 mm through-bore as the typical solution.

The LPT080 uses our fiber brush technology which offers several advantages over conventional slip ring contacts including multiple points of contact per brush bundle, low contact force per fiber and low contact wear rates. In addition, fiber brushes do not require lubrication and produce virtually no wear debris. The LPT080 features field serviceable brush blocks.
