CellaTemp PKL 63 / compact panorama pyrometer for safe temperature measurements of vibrating wires

The new panorama pyrometer CellaTemp PKL 63 works with a rectangular measurement area. Thanks to the 2-colour measuring principle, the device delivers correct measurement values even when the hot object or the heated zone is smaller than the measurement area of the pyrometer. The target object may even move freely within this area. The panorama pyrometer CellaTemp PK 63 is ideal for vibrating wires in heat treatment processes or welding seams in pipe manufacturing.

The patented LED spot light continuously shows the exact position and the width of the measurement area. Despite its low current consumption, the green LED light emits higher luminance and its visibility is clearer and sharper to the human eye than red light. This ensures high operational reliability, since the correct alignment of the device can easily be checked at any time. The LED light is technically safe and there is no risk of injury to the human eye as with a laser.

A display of the signal strength serves to check the reliability of the measurement value. In addition to its analogue output, the pyrometer is equipped with two independent switching outputs. These outputs, for example, are used to separately discard billets that are either too cold or too hot for the forging process when leaving the heating furnace.
