Kjellberg expands Smart Focus series: Smart Focus 400

One year after the successful launch of the plasma systems Smart Focus 130, 200 and 300, Kjellberg presents a new model of this series at the international trade show Blechexpo in Stuttgart: The Smart Focus 400 with a maximum cutting current of 400 A for material thicknesses up to 100 mm expands the application areas of this reliable plasma series considerably. After its launch last year, the Smart Focus series has ensured the best cutting results among users all over the world.

When cutting electrically conductive materials, the Smart Focus 400 achieves precise cuts and highest cutting speeds while at the same time the costs per cutting metre are low. The results are sharp cut edges and smooth cut surfaces, fine markings and low angular deviations. With the well-proven Contour Cut technology for cutting mild steel the user cuts fine contours and small holes with a material thickness to diameter ratio of 1:1 in highest quality.

When planning the new system the requirements of the customers in all application areas, e.g. 2D plasma cutting, bevel cutting up to 50° or underwater plasma cutting, were Kjellberg’s foremost objective: The user-friendly system achieves best results with only a few settings and also under challenging conditions.
