New LAZZATI Linea Floor Type Ram Milling HB 2M

Hydrostatic High Precision & Powerful Floor Type Horizontal Boring Mill

LAZZATI introduces the new HB 2M, travelling column boring - milling machine of the Linea Floor-Type. The new HB 2M born, as all the products LAZZATI of the Linea Floor-Type, "to measure of customer". This is, according to LAZZATI, a “must” for travelling column machines that, for their own peculiarities, can satisfy the demands of a very large target of customers. Nevertheless LAZZATI, from this point of view, has made a further footstep, planning a complete series of accessories and options adapts to cooperate with the new HB 2M so that to become a specific complete product for the single customer. The philosophy inside LAZZATI is really that of handing toward the customer as an advisor, that helps to resolve the problem list of job, proposing with its products a complete and satisfactory solution "to measure of customer". All of this is possible because in LAZZATI we are convinced to have a product to the top of the market thanks to the unbelievable dynamic and mechanics characteristics of the new HB 2M. Peculiarity of this product is the universal indexed head 360+360 positions. The total runout of 1.500mm of the ram, allows a great flexibility in the approach to the piece. This makes that the HB 2M always allow to work under the best possible conditions, with saving of time and equipments. A maximum spindle rotation speed of 4.500 RPM, rapid feeds of 30mm/1' on all the axes, working feeds of 20.000mm/1' is a record datum in the field of machines of such dimension, that don't find comparison in the market. The LAZZATI also proposes a complete series of rotary-travelling tables with max load by 15 tons. up to 50 tons. to combine to the HB 2M. All the tables built by LAZZATI are endowed with a double pinion system with backlash recovery. This system, together with the constructive goodness, it allows to have precisions of positioning of the table in the 2” of degree and the possibility to use the rotation of the table as a true axis of the machine for contourning workings. The new HB 2M is available with a vast series of systems of tool changers with capacity beginning from 60 places up to 120 places. The LAZZATI proposes also a complete system of probes and options of the CNC that allows to work in situation of machine not garrisoned: Tool overload control (LFC), Work piece probe (OSP), Tool probe (OSU). Motors and drives are all of the digital type and there is the possibility to climb on the CNC required by the customer. This choice allows to be able to electronically manage the strong accelerations that the sophisticated mechanics of the machine allows. In fact all the axes of job of the new HB 2M are hydrostatic of the type strongly preloaded. This type of solution, adopted by LAZZATI since 1978 on its travelling column machine, allows the new HB 2M to reach a maximum power transmitted to the spindle of 60Kw and a rigidity to the top of the category. The absolute lack of attrition among the parts of the machine, made by hydrostatic slideways, eliminates the usury of the guides, maintaining the performances of the machine unchanged for a lot of years. But the true point of strength of the new HB 2M are the unbelievable precisions that LAZZATI has reached, thanks to a mix of solutions that belongs to its own know-how. Mechanically these results are made possible over that from the hydrostatic system, also from the use of an hydraulic system for the compensation of the fall of the mobile head that allows to reach tolerances of 0,015mm on 1.500mm travel. The advantage of this system is that to mechanically compensate the fall in such way that the cutter works always parallel to the guides of the column. LAZZATI has made a further footstep also finding solution to the control of the temperatures with the new T.C.S. System. With this system LAZZATI succeeds in also maintaining always the temperature of the structures of the new HB 2M to the temperature environment during the workmanship. This allows to eliminate the expansions of the structures, due to the differences of the temperature, maintaining unchanged the geometry of the machine.
