Hastamat and LoeschPack convince with efficient packaging solutions

Lahnau / Altendorf (31/07/2015) – At FachPack 2015 in Nuremberg, the sister companies Hastamat and LoeschPack will be presenting their innovative new developments from 29 September to 01 October 2015. In Hall 1 / Stand 1-216, the system providers will be exhibiting high-performance solutions for manufacturers in the food and non-food sector, and in particular for the confectionery industry.

World premiere: Fold wrap in the high performance range with hermetical sealing

The fold wrapping machine LRM-HS from LoeschPack in corporate design with a capacity of up to 450 products per minute in sealing mode will be celebrating its world premiere. For a number of smaller items such as bars, small bars, and Napolitains, the new development offers customers high output, which enables economical production and sale. What makes the premium fold wrapping machine unique is the choice between sealing and non-sealing, which makes 600 products per minute possible. “The customer can at any time change our packaging machine with folding box from sealing to non-sealing and flexibly adjust the sealing technology to the production batch depending on customer needs,” says Andreas Graf, CEO of LoeschPack. Hermetically sealed, visually appealing premium products that have been packed with the LRM-HS have brilliantly passed a water column test according to ASTM standard for checking for tightness. The individual products can be packaged in envelope or cube fold wraps. The closure on the base is tightly sealed using the Loesch double-T seal. A large number of different wrapping materials can be processed from the reel. Machine design in balcony construction that is state of the art is a matter of course in terms of hygiene and ergonomics at LoeschPack. Features such as zero-ram-pressure product feed and servo-controlled packaging material are standard. Optionally, various printing systems in accordance with customer requirements or a dual film-unwinding mechanism with auto-splice function can be integrated, for example.

Proven flow wrapping machines for the high-performance range

With the innovative flow wrapping machines from the RM series, Hastamat is presenting the continuously running vertical flow wrapping machine RM-270 for the high-performance range at FachPack 2015. “The low profile ensures maximum product protection even at high speed,” emphasizes Marco Hinter, Sales Manager at Hastamat. The machines in modular stainless steel construction and hygienic design are optionally available as waterproof and dustproof models, and can be easily cleaned. To facilitate this, all surfaces of the machine are bevelled. Hinter: “The mechanical components are clearly separated from the product side.” Due to the excellent accessibility for maintenance and cleaning, the series is particularly convenient. The film run is mounted on one side, facilitating operation and format changes. “With these new products, we are covering all format ranges and bag shapes with an output of up to 200 bags per minute,” says Hinter. Special applications for non-food and food manufacturers can be easily and flexibly integrated into the RM-270.

Packaging solution from Hastamat and LoeschPack

In an increasingly competitive environment, customers need efficient solutions with integration of a variety of packaging stages. Together with its sister company LoeschPack, at FachPack 2015 Hastamat is exhibiting the possibility of a line combination for packaging of hermetically sealed chocolate bars in individual wrapping followed by stand-up pouches with four-edge sealing. The chocolate bars are packed and sealed with the single-lane fold wrapping machine with folding box for bars LRM-HS from LoeschPack in a full wrap of OPP film. The individual articles are then transferred to the Hastamat CP-16-S32 combination scale. There, the articles can be metered precisely according to weight or counted to the exact number and then packaged in the downstream RM-270 vertical flow wrapping machine in a stand-up pouch.
