LYMCO has announced the new MV-608 moving column vertical machining center.
The machine was designed for long narrow parts needing high versatility and stability. Manufacturers of screws and steel frames could be benefited from the small footprint requirement and stationary table to design their fixturing and automation solutions in high flexibility.
MV-608 come with a travel range of 6000 in X axis, 800 in Y axis, and 700 in Z axis. The table could handle parts as heavy as 6 tons.
The MV-608 is based on the modular customization concept. The variations in X axis is 2000 to 8000mm. The Y axis come in four travel range from 500 to 1000mm. Shops prefer productivity could have the machine in twin or triple working zone setup with auto door, auto clamps, and robotics. Shops with high part variation could enjoy addition table length for extra fixturing space for 4th axis.
