Mahlo at the leading trade fair K
Focus on plastics for eight days
From October 19 to 26 2022, the world's largest plastics trade fair K expects trade visitors from all over the globe. They will have the opportunity to learn about the latest developments for quality control and regulation of critical process parameters in plastics production and processing at booth E14 in hall 10 at Mahlo GmbH + Co. KG.
Overcoming challenges in the plastics industry together - that is the goal of the Bavarian machine manufacturer. "Factory owners are faced with the task of manufacturing ever higher quality and more complex products, while at the same time using fewer resources," says Product Manager Matthias Wulbeck, describing the current situation. This can only be achieved if both the composition and the specified parameters of the goods are correct.
With the Qualiscan QMS-12, Mahlo offers renowned online measurement and control solutions for variables such as coating thickness, coating application and moisture. The modular quality measurement system impresses with a portfolio of measuring frames of different sizes and sensors for almost all requirements. "Because with precisely controlled and regulated process parameters, not only can fabric quality and plant utilization be improved, but at the same time the raw material input can be optimized and production can be more sustainable," Wulbeck continues.
Sensors in live mode
At the Mahlo booth, visitors can see the latest developments "made in Germany" from the comprehensive sensor portfolio. For example, the Infrascope NIR sensor, which is part of Mahlo's Qualiscan QMS quality measurement system, can be seen in live operation. The infrared sensor measures coating, moisture and individual layers without contact and without affecting the goods. Also on display at the show is the Optoscope WLI sensor. It uses white light interference and is particularly well suited for transparent films and coatings. "Continuous development of the sensor has ensured that even more accurate measurement results are produced," says Wulbeck. Visitors will have the opportunity to test and analyze samples they have brought along directly on site at the demo tower.
As a representative of the different measuring frames of the Qualiscan QMS system, Mahlo will present the Webpro XS-II. The measuring bridge is the most compact variant of the O-frames. Installation is therefore possible even in confined spaces.
A visit to the Mahlo booth is therefore worthwhile for trade fair visitors, because: "With our systems, which we are happy to explain in more detail to the K audience, we want to provide answers to important and pressing questions for the world of plastics processing."
