Contributing to Maxell IZUMI’s nano18 Electric Crimping Tool
The Maxell IZUMI nano18 is an electric crimping tool used to secure connections by deforming a terminal around a wire. As a handheld tool, it requires high output torque, low weight, and high transmission efficiency of its drive system for optimal performance.
Matex has over 50 years of experience designing, developing, and mass-producing planetary gear reducers. We are capable of stepping in at any point during the design process, flexibly delivering in the areas where our customers need us the most.
This is why Maxell IZUMI approached Matex for its gear reducer needs.
Using our extensive experience in compact and lightweight planetary gear reducers, Matex confirmed the viability of the customer’s design and mass-produced a custom tailored solution, ensuring stable torque output even at high input rotation rates of 15000rpm and producing 0.64Nm atφ27mm in outer diameter.
