LE POULIGUEN: A 100% ELASTOMER VALVE TO PROTECT THE EP NETWORK FROM THE TIDE

A TIDEFLEX® DN 800 valve was installed on the quay of Commander L'Herminier in Le Pouliquen (44) to protect the rainwater network from reflux during the tide.

The installation of the anti-backflow valve had to meet two constraints.

The first is that the network being oval, it was necessary to manufacture a flange and a counter-flange with a female fitting to install the TIDEFLEX ® on the existing pipeline.

The second is that the outlet is never completely accessible (dry), which required the intervention of a team of divers to install the valve.
