Camstopper, fitted with an innovative, patented handle or cam system that locks the plug in place at a stroke, is certainly the fastest, easiest plug to fit and remove.
Remotely installable and removable using the “RALCAM” telescopic extension arm, the Camstopper plug CAM model also offers the best safety and comfort for the operator, who no longer needs to go down a manhole to plug the pipe network.
The very ergonomic Camstopper CAM is fitted with a stop, to prevent the plug swivelling in the pipe and facilitate installation, and with a 1/2” bypass. Without a stopper the by-pass allows simple connection to any pipework standard for flow diversion purposes.
The Camstopper CAM is designed for temporary plugging of pipes of nominal bore 90–150mm (for larger bores see the "PRO" and "PRO SPC" ranges) that are subject to pressures from 0.3–0.5 bar.
The Camstopper mechanically actuated cam-lock plug is made from nylon and WC grade EPDM per standard EN 681-1.
