Rubber Knife Mill, type PS-C -Gentle solutions for the size reduction of rubber

For economical size reduction of natural and synthetic rubber of any kind in form of bales, sheets or chips, vulcanized or unvulcanized rubber waste with or without textile lining, Pallmann offers the Knife Mill, type PS-C.

The open, high inertia guillotine rotor, especially developed for this requirement, allows size reduction of these materials at low heat generation. The mill is constructed in a sturdy welded steel design for heavy continuous operation. The machine housing is horizontally divided and can be opened either mechanically by means of a hand crank or hydraulically. The final particle size is determined by the screen mesh size chosen. The cut material is discharged straight down. The granules are pneumatically or mechanically conveyed behind the machine.

Pallmann supplies complete systems for the one-, two- or three-step preparation of rubber material, individually fit to the requirements. The load controlled conveyor belt feeds only as much material into the mill as can be economically size reduced. Well-proven dusting agent dosing and return systems are used depending on the individual requirements.
