New TAWERS Aluminium MIG welding robot system
By targeted drop separation as a result of the controlled wire guiding the welding spatters and deposits on the aluminium material are greatly reduced so that an excellent welding result can be achieved. Thanks to the special current-voltage characteristic and the active wire reversing the risk of pore creation can be reduced due to the movement of the melt according to the rhythm. The current-voltage control improves the cleaning efficiency of the surface which minimizes the warpage and saves the alloying elements (Mg, Zn).
This is possible thanks to the fully digital communication between the robot controller and the power source as well as the servo controlled Active Wire torch, which offer further benefits of the TAWERS Aluminium MIG welding system. By avoiding welding spatters during the Active Aluminium process customers can omitted expensive rework of the basic material whereby cost reduction potentials can be achieved. Furthermore production downtimes are prevented due to the non-tacking of the wire during the welding.
