Paramount Waste Celebrates 25 Years in Business

Paramount Waste focuses exclusively on designing and installing solutions for handling dry material waste, employing the right people and manufacturers to give the best value and quality for money. Systems are designed from the ground up using proven software simulation techniques, as well as products and processes unique to Paramount.

The company covers numerous industry sectors, from packaging products; corrugated, card and foil, to printing, bookbinding, tissue and label manufacture, plastics and more. Supply can cover full turnkey systems to specific items for the extraction, transfer and handling of waste. Some of Paramount’s most notable products include Heavy-Duty Chopper fans, CA Reverse Jet Filters and Rotary Separators. These outstanding products are robust solutions built for the harshest of conditions, reliable in all applications and continually outperforming expectations. Developed over time from the original Airmat range, with Paramount holding the design rights, where core elements have remained unchanged enabling the supply from stock many critical parts covering all ages of equipment.

Depending on the level of work required, a typical Paramount quotation will include a full, detailed site survey, 3D system design, system simulation using their own bespoke software, installation and commissioning. To ensure ongoing product reliability year after year a robust after-sales support structure can include service contracts and customer stocked critical parts. This attention to detail results in Paramount frequently collaborating with blue-chip clients in the UK as well as exports solutions to Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Asia.

2025 is a big year for Paramount Waste. The company celebrates its 25-year anniversary the future is looking bright. Reflecting on the last 25 years Sales Manger, John Harland, explains what it means to the company.

“It justifies the extra effort involved in supplying efficient and effective designs that work, resulting in customers returning time and time again. To be able to see equipment installed up to 25 years ago and customers still happy is vindication of our determination and Paramount’s mission to supply the best products, service and support is still as vital as it was in 1999,” But John says the company’s 25 years of experience has also given them the edge in a rapidly changing market.

“What has changed is the machinery and processes that we deal with as our core market develops and new opportunities arise. Coping with increased process speeds, and other process waste, such as heat and fumes, requires the specialist knowledge we have gained over the years. More recently, as customers focus on operating costs and sustainability, we have been able to use our bespoke software to help reimagine and improve existing systems which can have a massive effect on their bottom line and carbon footprint.”
