Phoenix Mecano Solutions AG honored with Swiss Lean Award

The Swiss Lean Award 2023, a prestigious prize that has been recognizing outstanding achievements in promoting competitiveness through lean management for over a decade, goes to Phoenix Mecano Solutions AG.

This award underlines the commitment to minimizing waste and the continuous joint work on improvements.

Phoenix Mecano Solutions AG beat four other finalists in the competition, convincing the expert jury consisting of representatives from Leancom AG, KMU Swiss and the University of Applied Sciences of Eastern Switzerland. The comprehensive integration of the lean management philosophy at all levels of the company was particularly emphasized. This includes the clear formulation of corporate goals so that every employee understands exactly what they mean for their work. "The key is to involve every single employee," emphasizes Markus Walde, Head of Production at Phoenix Mecano Solutions AG.

The lean principle of "order and cleanliness" is also practised throughout the company. This is reflected not only in the digitalized and transparent production processes, but also in the ergonomic, adaptable and flexible workstations.
