AC28 TM 2500 - movable crossrail

With a turning height of almost 3000 mm, the machine is capable of turning, drilling, milling and boring the most complex and accurate gear boxes in the wind power industries. A special set of accessories guarantees the best performances in terms of accuracy and rigidity. Special extended vertical head, with automatic tool change, guarantees the shortest tool possible, to achieve the most stable conditions during roughing operation and finishing production. The movable crossrail guarantees the maximum flexibility to machine the most challenging tall component, up to the shortest cover, not taking any compromise in terms of stability during cut.

The ram size 250x250, with a maximum extension of 1500 mm, made with forged steel, guarantees the capability of achieving all the features of the different components. The machine is equipped also with horizontal milling head to perform radial holes. A special design of crossrail and tool magazines guarantees the possibility to perform long radial holes with gun drills up to 700 mm hole lenght.
