ITW Pillar Technologies Granted Patent for Innovative Induction Sealing Coil Connection

Hartland, WI, November 19, 2015 — ITW Pillar Technologies, a leading manufacturer of advanced induction cap sealing and surface treatment systems, has been granted a US patent pertaining to an innovative and quick connection between the sealing coil and the power source for ITW Pillar’s new iFoiler™ Induction Cap Sealing System.

Specifically, ITW Pillar devised an efficient and secure method for a sealing coil to reliably connect to electrical contacts from the power supply cabinet with the use of an ingenious guiding mechanism which includes a locking mechanism at an end of the guide rails that prevents movement of the sealing head when the pairs of electrical contacts are electrically connected.
