Increased Speed and Resolution
For incremental rotary encoder in SMD-format
POSIC launches a brand new version of the IT5602C rotary encoder kit with 6x higher speed and resolution.
The maximum speed and the resolution of the IT5602C encoder are field-programmable, which allows you to precisely adjust it to your application requirements. The combination of maximum speed and resolution has been increased by a factor 6 compared to the previous version of the encoder. Example: with a codewheel-diameter of only 28 mm, you can achieve a resolution of 32768 CPR at a speed of 720 RPM.
The output signals are A and B pulses in quadrature and an Index-pulse that is synchronized to the A and B signals. Thanks to the eddy-current sensing mechanism, the encoder is immune against magnetic fields and robust against oil, grease, dust and particles.
Application examples are electric motors, direct drives, rotary stages, piezo motors, robot joints and power tools.
