Promoting Administrative Collaboration with Regional Financial Institutions

As one of the measures for cooperation with regional financial institutions, Japan Post Bank is promoting the sharing of administrative work, which is a non-competitive area for financial institutions. As a first step, Japan Post Bank and Kawasaki Shinkin Bank began joint operations for tax and public money collection in October 2019. Japan Post Bank centralizes tax and public money collection operations at its 11 back-office savings centers nationwide, and fully outsources these operations to Primagest. Leveraging the infrastructure and stable operational know-how it has built up through its work with Japan Post Bank, Primagest has also been entrusted with Kawasaki Shinkin Bank's operations.
