Radar level transmitter in the fine chemical industry

CPR series and CGR series

1. CPR6300 radar level transmitter in chemical reactor

Challenges: The environment inside the reactor is harsh like high pressure and high temperature, also with steam and mixing fan in the middle of reactor.

Advantages of CPR6300

Dual MCU design. Radar main sector and display unit use separate MCU. With dual MCU the processing ability and stability is much higher than single MCU.

With encapsulated antenna it’s resistant to condensation and pressure.

2.CPR6400 80G radar level transmitter in small tank with agitator

Challenges: A small reaction tank of pharmaceutical intermediate. Measuring range is around 1m and mounting nozzle is close to tank wall. Installation space is limited.

Advantages of CPR6400

80G FMCW technology and accuracy is up to ±1mm.

Benefit from small beam angle measurement is unaffected by obstacles.

Isolated emitting and receiving signal enable full range measurement without dead zone.

Waves Memo: To help understand abnormal output, the CPR6400 storages echo automatically.

3.CGR8600 guided wave radar in steam boiler

Challenges: Boiler steam is are generally operated under high temperatures and high pressures. Usually inside temperatures is above 300 degrees C and sometimes pressure is higher than 10MPa.

Advantages of CGR8600

With dynamic steam compensation, temperature compensation function.

Using a multi-point reference reflector rod, the error caused by different height pressures in the tank is effectively reduced which can ensure the measuring accuracy.

Sealed with graphite ceramics working temperature is up to 450 degrees C and working pressure up to 40MPa.

Measuring result unaffected by changes of density or pressure.

4.CGR8100 interface measurement

Challenges: The two liquids are insoluble. The upper liquid is organic solvent and the lower liquid is water. The upper level and the interface between the two liquids need to be accurately measured.

Advantages of CGR8600

Two output 4…20mA signals

Contact measurement avoids signal dispersion and attenuation, especially suitable for measurements of materials with low dielectric constant.

Easy installation and operation.

Without moving part. Maintenance free.
