We assemble our ETRI compact axial fans in trays form for all types of applications. This allow to optimize the ventilation efficiency. A fan tray can be racked into an electrical or electronic cabinet. The available space and the need of ventilation of the equipment are the elements which help us define the tray size and the number of fans.
The coding for an ETRI fan tray starts, for example, with R1UExxx. These letters and numbers have a specific meaning:
R: Rack (rack-mounted fan tray)
1U: rack unit, in this case 44.45 millimeters (1.75") thick
Exxx: project name
000: The code ends with 3 digits to identify the different versions of the product.
A large number of fans to be installed in a small space is the advantage provided by our ETRI fan trays. The number of fans can be adapted to ventilation requirements, while optimizing space.
Assembling several fans in a trays is a solution to save space. In addition, ETRI also develops axial fans with specific housings to optimize the number of fans to be installed in the fan tray.
The design of ETRI fan trays also optimizes equipment maintenance: they are easy to install and uninstall. In case of need, users can easily replace a single fan themselves. Thet don't need any special tools and minimizing maintenance costs.
