Salicru's UPSs comply with the European Commission's energy efficiency Code of Conduct

All Salicru’s series of Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems meet the specifications of the Code of Conduct (CoC) created by the European Commission for assessing the energy efficiency of these devices. Our company, as a benchmark manufacturer of UPSs, has not only adopted the CoC, but all its series currently meet specifications in the Elite category, the most demanding of this initiative.

The purpose of this Code of Conduct (CoC) is to minimise energy consumption (kWh) in Europe by maximising the energy efficiency of the UPSs, when you consider the strategic importance that these devices play in industrial applications of all types and, very especially, in data centres. For this reason, it establishes the basic principles that must be followed by the manufacturers of these devices that operate in the EU, as regards their energy efficiency levels.

This Code of Conduct is applied to UPSs that supply single-phase and three-phase uninterrupted power greater than 0.05kW at 230/400V. Its guidelines consider the performance of the UPSs as regards their topology and technology (VFD, VI and VFI), respectively.

The signatory manufacturers of the CoC, Salicru among them, have undertaken to provide the European Commission annually from 2022, information relating to the energy efficiency of the devices covered by the present Code of Conduct and that they market in the European Union (EU) and European Free Trade Association (EFTA).

Salicru's commitment to energy efficiency is reflected in its latest generation UPSs since, thanks to the technological functionalities included, they provide an energy efficiency that can vary between 96% and 99%.
