SELF CLEANING FILTRATION : FOCUS ON FTL FILTER
Tangential in Line Filtration
Self-cleaning filtration has numerous benefits. Indeed, operation costs are reduced and no consumables are required. Automatic filters can be installed as equipment protection (pump, heat exchanger, etc). Besides, very low maintenance is necessary, the whole installation productivity is thus significantly increased.
The FTL filter (Tangential Filtration in Line) is a popular self-cleaning filter, whose main application is water filtration.
The main advantage of this filter is that it involves no process interruption and a very small fluid loss. It is installed in line in the continuity of your piping. This filter contains no moving parts and therefore no wearing parts. Furthermore, its particular design allows to filter very high flow rates: until 12 000 m3/h.
FTL Filter is available in several materials: carbon steel, stainless steel, plastic or duplex.
