NEW: Z-PASS2-S by SENECA, local controller as remote controller

Z-PASS2-S is an advanced RTU IEC 61131 with Ethernet/3G+ router and VPN support (Virtual Private Network). In addition to the standard automation and control functions, Z-PASS2-S allows easy and safe remote system maintenance from a local intranet through the Internet. The permanent connection permits user the access to different variables to manage: alarms system reporting, remote gateway functions and remote management of facilities or machines.

Based on softPLC Straton, Z-PASS2-S can be configured both through Z-NET4 SENECA objects environment and via web server. Equipped with different communication interfaces, the unit ensures high levels of connectivity with full support of industrial protocols (ModBUS RTU, ModBUS TCP-IP, custom), network protocols (PPP, HTTP, FTP, SMTP) and protocols for Energy Management applications (IEC 60870-101, IEC 60870-104, IEC 61850).

This powerful controller/RTU provides maximum reliability for all your remote control needs, remote maintenance and remote data access. The embedded modem/router 3G+ (GSM, GPRS, Edge, UMTS, HSDPA, HSUPA) allows a redundant connection very useful in system automation, energy management (production and distribution systems, renewable energy, smart grids) and in critical security applications or harsh environments.
