Laboratory Calibration and Service
Are your SHAW dew point instruments in need of calibration or a service? Why not have them calibrated and serviced in our environmentally controlled Calibration Laboratory.
The SHAW Calibration Engineers will fully service and calibrate your dew point instruments in our environmentally controlled calibration laboratory, encompassing an overall calibration range of -90 °C to +20 °C dewpoint traceable to National and International Humidity Standards at the National Physical Laboratory (NPL).
Our Calibration Engineers perform routine servicing, commissioning, fault finding, repairs and installation services in accordance with our accredited quality system. Shaw Moisture Meters is awarded registration to ISO 9001:2015, the quality system independently audited and certified by National Bodies. This ensures we consistently provide dew point products that meet customer, statutory and regulatory requirements. All SHAW products receive certification in accordance to both EC and UKCA Declarations of Conformity. Additionally, many SHAW dew point instruments are certified intrinsically safe to ATEX, IECEx and UL standards for use in hazardous environments.
We estimate a turnaround of five to seven working days for the service and calibration of your dew point instrument. As part of this service, the customer receives a detailed report explaining the options and costs for any repairs before any work commences.
An annual service and calibration of your dew point instrument will maintain its accuracy and traceability. The calibration interval will, however, be dependent upon the instrument type and usage. We recommend more frequent service and calibrations for dew point instruments used in critical or aggressive environments.
