200-ton electro-hydraulic straightening press
200-ton electro-hydraulic straightening press with mobile gantry: Model PMM 200 ME
Our workshop has just completed production of a 200-ton electro-hydraulic straightening press with a moving gantry, model PMM 200 ME, specifically designed to meet the precision and versatility needs of modern mechanical workshops. This machine is the ideal solution for those who need to straighten large sheet metal and profiles with extreme accuracy.
Functional Design and Operational Versatility
The distinguishing feature of the PMM 200 ME lies in its dynamic design. The machine is equipped with a moving column and a transverse hydraulic cylinder. This engineering combination allows the punch to reach any point on the workbench, eliminating the need to move heavy metal pieces during machining.
The 2550 x 3000 mm workbench was completely welded to the machine frame and surface milled. This process ensures excellent flatness, essential for achieving flawless straightening results. Furthermore, at the customer's request, the table is equipped with 24 meters of T-slots, allowing for quick and secure attachment of tools and support equipment.
Technical Features and Intelligent Lifting
An innovative feature of this 200-ton electro-hydraulic straightening press with a moving gantry is the integration of hydraulic lifting cylinders directly inside the bench. These components perform the following functions:
Assisted lifting: They lift the sheet metal to allow the insertion of shims.
Deformation control: They thus create the necessary space between the bench and the material, allowing the elastic and plastic deformation of the metal under the thrust of the piston.
The main cylinder has a stroke of 500 mm and is equipped with a 250 mm punch, which serves as an optimal extension to handle different load geometries.
Control and Security at Your Fingertips
The user interface has been designed to maximize ergonomics. All controls are managed via a pendant control panel with a movable arm, allowing the operator to move freely around the workpiece and closely monitor every stage of the process.
The management of the technical parameters is entrusted to high-level electronics: the Siemens KTP 700 digital panel allows for quick and precise configuration of each work cycle.
Finally, to ensure maximum visibility even at night or in dimly lit environments, the press is equipped with a double row of high-intensity LED lights that uniformly illuminate the entire work area.
