Sicmi confirms its leadership in the design of custom hydraulic machinery by developing the PMM 70 model: a customized 70-ton hydraulic press with a moving column, engineered to optimize maintenance and industrial carpentry operations.

Maximum flexibility with the mobile upright
The strength of the PMM 70 lies in the hydraulically operated column structure, which allows the thrust unit to move along the work surface. Large workpieces remain fixed in place on the spacious 1200 x 1000 mm worktable, reducing load movements, speeding up cycles, and increasing operational safety.

Tailor-made solution for mechanical maintenance
Developed to facilitate the removal of pins, bushings, bearings and pulleys, the machine boasts a wide clearance between columns of 1170 mm and a maximum distance between the rod and the table of 965 mm, with a cylinder stroke of 500 mm.

The innovative element is the special metal cover plate (1000 x 900 mm), equipped with a central hole with a diameter of 200 mm. During the push, the hole allows the pin or extruded component to easily discharge beneath the table, without obstacles. The plate is easily removable, allowing for quick transition to traditional processes such as bending or straightening.

Performance, safety and Sicmi technology
The press integrates a dual-speed hydraulic power unit (approach at 10 mm/sec and operation at 2 mm/sec) managed via a convenient pendant control to operate the cylinder and upright. Safety is ensured by polycarbonate perimeter guards on the sides and rear, as well as CE certification.
