The PW 022
The PW 022 from the S-DIAS product family is used to control inductive and ohmic loads. With the compact pulse width module, magnets and proportional valves for example, can be controlled precisely and comfortably. The module has two +24 V-switching PWM outputs, which are designed for 1.5 A per channel.
The PWM base frequency ranges from 30.5 Hz to 20 KHz. The PWM pulse width, as well as the PWM frequency can be set via the software in 0.5 increments. The +18-30 V DC supply voltage is monitored for under voltage. In addition, a short-circuit monitor ensures safe operation.
The PW 022 can be, as with all DIN rail modules of the thin I/O series S-DIAS from SIGMATEK, easily programmed and configured with the object-oriented engineering tool LASAL. For simple schematic integration, an EPLAN macro is available.
