With this technology, it is possible to weld parts made of most thermoplastic materials, having circular shapes.
For spin welding technology, the heat necessary for the fusion of the parts is being produced by a rotating motion combined with thrust pressure. One of the parts to be welded is held by a fixture, whereas the other one is put in motion by a rotating spindle. The assembling process is therefore easy and based on very comprehensible known physic principles.
This actuator, with reduced dimensions, is suitable for the welding of little pieces where the usage of traditional welding systems, result to be not convenient due to the dimensions and the expensive price.
