When lubrication makes the difference

Where steel, salt and gravity collide, lubrication determines performance, safety and service life.

In ports, on quaysides and offshore platforms, cranes operate under conditions that no other system would tolerate. Salt, moisture, dirt, vibration and extreme load changes attack every centimetre of steel – especially where movement occurs: on rails, wheel flanges, slewing rings and wire ropes. This is exactly where lubrication determines efficiency, safety and service life.
The Crane Rail Lubricator CRL‑101 ensures that even slow‑moving gantry cranes run quietly, cleanly and with minimal wear. Two precisely guided lubrication rollers apply the lubricant evenly to both flanks of the crane rail – with no brush wear, no unnecessary consumption and no environmental impact. A P205 multi‑line pump and a progressive SSV6 metering device deliver exactly the amount required. No more. No less.
While the crane continues to operate, the system protects rails and wheels, reduces noise emissions in populated harbour areas and noticeably lowers operating costs. Robustly designed and suitable for all common greases – including biodegradable lubricants.
But the rail is only the beginning.
Wire ropes that lift tons deserve the same protection. The Lincoln Wire Rope Lubricator drives lubricant deep into the core of every strand – up to 90% faster than manual methods. The result: ropes last six to eight times longer, corrosion is stopped and safety increases significantly. The matching Groove Cleaner removes dirt and old grease beforehand so the new lubricant can penetrate optimally.
For drum‑based supply, the Lubrigun is ready: a powerful, air‑operated pump that delivers reliably even under the toughest conditions.
Together, these systems form an invisible protective layer for every movement of the crane – from the wheel flange to the last wire strand. Less wear, less downtime, less risk. More efficiency, more safety, more service life.
