OMD-501D Online Trace Oxygen Analyzer for Parts-Per-Million O2 Monitoring

ONTARIO, Calif. – November 17th, 2015 -- Southland Sensing Ltd. is pleased to introduce the new OMD-501D Online Trace Oxygen Analyzer for measuring parts-per-million o2 in industrial applications.

This new analyzer combines the precision micro-fuel cell technology that Southland Sensing Ltd. is known for with an intelligent full feature multi-range analyzer platform. The Compact 1/4DIN panel mount package represents superior performance in a small compact size capable of measuring 0.1ppm oxygen up to 25%.

The OMD-501D is linear over all of its five standard ranges including 0 - 10ppm, 0 - 100ppm, 0 - 1000ppm, 0 - 1% and 0 - 25% and can be configured in manual range mode or auto-range. The concentration signal output of 4 – 20mA full scale is coupled with a 1 – 5 VDC Range ID. The unit also features two fully adjustable NO or NC alarm relay contacts rated at 5A @ 230VAC with build in delay mode.

With the standard H3 remote sensor housing, gas connections are made via Swagelok 1/8" tube fittings with an inlet rating of 0 - 50 PSIG and a flow recommendation of 0.5 - 5.0 SCFH. An optional H1 sensor housing is available for direct fitment in Inert Glovebox applications where a KF-40 mount is preferred. Both housings come standard with a six foot shielded cable.

When specifying your oxygen measurement system, don't forget to include Southland Sensing's proprietary precision fuel cell oxygen sensors which are all manufactured in house under a strict quality system. The TO2-1x Trace Oxygen Sensor has an expected life of 25 months in most applications. The TO2-2x is ideal when measuring in oxygen in carbon dioxide applications. Both are fully compatible with the OMD-501D Oxygen Analyzer

Typical applications will include steel production, air separation, bulk industrial gas plants, chemical processing, reflow soldering, coking ovens, solar energy, inert isolators, inert gloveboxes as well as many others.
