New to the range: Multi-mantle filter elements for marine and process technology applications

Stauff completes its range of filter elements from in-house production “made in Germany”

Stauff has further expanded its range of replacement filter elements for single, double and automatic filters “made in Germany”: Multi-mantle filter elements from the SBM range, which are now also part of the filter manufacturer's stock range, consist of up to three cylindrical filter cartridges with different diameters placed inside each other, creating the largest possible filter surface on a small footprint.

Stainless steel mesh with variable micron ratings between 10 and 2000 micrometres is used as a standard filter material. Like the mesh, the inner support tubes for the elements are also made of stainless steel and their end caps of aluminium. This means that mantle filters from Stauff can easily be cleaned in an ultrasonic bath or manually as required.

Multi-mantle filter elements are generally used in marine applications for filtering fuels and lubricants as well as water. The elements are also used in the processing industry for purifying water, oils, coolants and chemicals.

Stauff customers benefit from full access to several thousand different replacement filter elements for applications with hydraulic oils, lubricant oils, fuels, water, chemicals and coolants.

In addition to the high availability from stock in the automated logistics centre in Neuenrade, which allows very short processing times and ensures maximum process reliability, delivery quality and timely deliveries, the company also has the benefit of technical expertise resulting from decades of experience as a manufacturer of filter elements. The heart of research and development is the Technology Centre at the Stauff headquarters in Werdohl. This is where a team of experienced engineers works on the development of new products and solutions, from ideas to market launch. Beyond this, the task and the objective are to revise the existing products and solutions with regard to the increasing requirements of the market, striving for consistent optimisation.
