Change of name – Maximator JET GmbH is now STM Waterjet GmbH Germany
Maximator JET GmbH is now STM Waterjet GmbH Germany
Since August 2017, the successful team – STM and Maximator JET – has been operating under the STM umbrella brand, which means even better service quality for all customers.
Schweinfurt, Germany/Eben im Pongau, Austria. It has been 17 years since the conception of their strategic alliance, and by fusing their brands STM Stein-Moser GmbH (Austrian providers of water jet cutting systems) and German partner Maximator JET GmbH bring even more momentum to their collaboration: Since August 2017, the system partners have been trading as STM Waterjet Germany. Company owners Sven Anders from Maximator JET and Jürgen Moser from STM feel confident that this fusion will raise their profile internationally and further strengthen their capabilities in development and service. Each location will retain its autonomous organisational structure. “Our goal is to improve on our service quality and to ensure that we offer the best service in the industry,” explains STM’s Managing Director Jürgen Moser. “This fusion of brands is the logical consequence of strong business growth in both our companies,” states Sven Anders, Managing Director of Maximator JET GmbH. “Thanks to our brand-new plants in Schweinfurt and Eben in combination with our collective marketing power, we are really well prepared for any future developments.” The new joint brand will be launched at the ‘Schweissen & Schneiden’ trade fair for welding engineering from 25th to 29th September 2017 in Dusseldorf. STM Stein-Moser GmbH and Maximator JET GmbH both specialise in water jet cutting systems. Their collaboration goes back 17 years and they are united in their passion for all things water jet cutting. The two companies have successfully merged the reliability of a well-established, trusted firm with the innovative power of a start-up. Over the last two decades, they have carved their way to a leading position in the water jet market. Their setup allows both companies to offer their customized full-service options – providing all the benefits of an owner-managed business – at the highest technological level. The plan is to expand their service portfolio, fully utilise synergies within the partnership and to step up research collaborations under the STM umbrella brand.
Service and logistics have been and will continue to be operated as a double-protection system: Let’s assume, for example, that a customer reports a problem. A service engineer, where available, is put on standby and can be sent to the customer within 24 hours, if required. An additional service centre in Northern Germany has been established to help achieve STM’s goal of providing the best service in the industry. The availability of spare parts is also doubly secured. Spares can be ordered quickly and easily from both locations and through the STM online shop. Trade fairs, trainings and customer loyalty activities are generally joint efforts. A key goal of the merger is the increased pooling of marketing activities.
The German-Austrian partnership ensures that STM can offer the entire spectrum of water jet applications. The successful research and development cooperation between the two companies means that the current range of 2D- and 3D-cutting systems covers micro-water jet systems as well as proprietary software and specialty components such as the unique OneClean system for recycling water and abrasive media. Today, STM supplies the stone-, glass-, plastic-, steel-, non-ferrous metal, metal- and aluminium-processing industries and works as a trusted partner in scientific research projects. The demand is such that both sites keep growing. 2015 saw the grand opening of the new Waterjet Cutting Centre in Schweinfurt, and STM is in the process of expanding its main operations in Eben im Pongau by adding a 1.400 m² research and development centre.
Interested companies are invited to take advantage of this collaboration and to apply for a cost-benefit analysis without any obligation. STM is also happy to provide test cuts for more customized solutions.
