Background Introduction

Mixed Recycling Modes

Through the ‘smart recycling bin recycling programme, supplemented by smart station recycling, door-to-door recycling and mobile recycling’ programme, it ensures efficient and convenient recycling of recyclables, and ensures the collection of all types of recyclables.

The ‘Smart Recycling Bins’ in residential areas can be used for sorting and recycling of plastic bottles, regardless of whether they are one plastic bottle or a dozen bottles, which improves the convenience of residents' participation in recycling.

Intelligent recycling stations along the streets can be used for one-time large-scale collection by merchants and users with high inventory;

The ‘Door-to-door Recycling Appointment’ are for users who have difficulty in aotomatic recycling, especially for scrapped e-bikes, second-hand and small household appliances;

‘Mobile recycling’ is flexible and can also go to remote towns and villages to supplement the inconvenient areas for equipment placement;

Residents can interactively choose to use the ‘Smart Recycling Bins’ or book a recycling appointment through the ‘Zhiduofen APP’, and receive cashback based on the weight, quantity and value of recyclables, as well as support real-time cash withdrawals or score points exchange.

Equipped with IoT system

JONO equips IoT system and uniform signage at the transfer station. When the short barge trucks send the materials collected from the bin to the transfer station, the transfer station is equipped with pre-sorting and packing capacity reduction functions, which can reduce the transport cost. Then the materials in the transfer station will be transferred to the sorting centre after reaching a certain quantity. Through this system, the equipment can automatically detect overflow, send orders to the nearest recycling personnel, and plan the optimal path to ensure timely clearence. The system also presents a dynamic status of vehicles and personnel, realize comprehensive supervision of the entire recycling lifecycle process.

High-efficient Sorting

Based on the population size of the service area and the demand for actual processing capacity, JONO has set up an integrated recyclable intelligent sorting centre. By means of ‘mechanical sorting equipment + AI intelligent sorting equipment + manual quality control’, to get fine sorting of mixed recyclables. The modular design allows the production line to be customised and combined according to customer needs.
