IE Expo Shanghai 2026

The recently concluded IE Expo China once again brought global attention to cutting-edge environmental technologies and sustainable solutions. At this year’s event, JONO (Suzhou JONO Innovative Technology Co., Ltd.) made a strong impression with a lineup of advanced equipment that combines intelligent systems with precision engineering.
The booth attracted a steady stream of industry experts, partners, and clients from around the world, creating a vibrant space for in-depth discussions and live demonstrations.
What We Showcased
1. AI+ Hyperspectral Sorter
A highlight of the showcase, this system combines visual recognition with hyperspectral analysis to identify materials based on composition, texture, and reflectance—going beyond traditional color-based sorting.
It enables precise separation of complex material streams, including 3A bottles, mixed plastics, and PP food containers. The result is higher purity and improved recovery efficiency, helping operators achieve greater value from waste streams.
2. OMNIBOT RSE – Smart Recycling Robot for Communities
Designed for urban recycling scenarios, the OMNIBOT RSE offers a simple and accessible way for residents to participate in waste sorting.
Users can deposit recyclables through QR code or facial recognition. The system automatically identifies and weighs materials, providing instant rewards via digital platforms. This approach encourages consistent participation and supports recycling at the source.
3. JONO RVM E-Series – Reverse Vending Machine
Developed for deposit return systems (DRS) and container recycling, the E-Series RVM integrates 360° barcode scanning with visual detection to ensure accurate identification of PET bottles and aluminum cans.
With built-in anti-fraud mechanisms and a cloud-based management system, it supports real-time monitoring, remote maintenance, and efficient operation. Optional compaction improves storage capacity, making it suitable for high-traffic environments.
During the exhibition, JONO’s team provided hands-on demonstrations and clear explanations of each system’s working principles and real-world applications. Visitors were able to see how advanced sorting technologies can improve efficiency and unlock more value from recyclable materials.
