Robot for flat tile handling shown at CERAMITEC

In 2015, TECAUMA took part for the first time to the CERAMITEC trade fair in Munich : the leading international fair for the ceramics industry, which takes place once every three years.

The French manufacturer for machinery presented a robotic cell for the handling of flat tiles. Equipped with a vision system, the robot detects the position of the tiles on the conveyor and grips the moving tiles by tracking. The vision system also makes it possible to make a quality control : the tiles with a defect are sorted out by the robot.
