Metering pump dry running protection
Task: The metering pumps in a paint production plant should be prevented from running dry.
Solution: The use of load monitors alone is not possible because the loads vary depending on the temperature and the medium, and the load monitors would have to be continuously reconfigured. The analogue signal from the G2BA400V12A combined with the temperature and medium type allow the customer to create a profile in the PLC and to thereby provide dry running protection.
