It resists temperatures up to 260°C

Applications

The outside coating based on red silicone rubber provides a high level of resistance to abrasion and is particularly used to protect hydraulic cooling pipes, cables for electric circuits and for the movement and handling of highly overheated metals and molten slag.

It protects workers from the risk of burning due to the intense heat given off by pipes containing molten metals in steelworks for the production of special steels.

The product can also be used in induction furnaces, to protect the cooling circuits of electric power cables.

It is widely used in foundries for aluminium and other metals, on oil rigs and in the ship-building and car industries and it is also excellent for reducing any power loss thanks to the low coefficient of heat transmission.
