152G7-E, our versatile, time-saving embedded optical speed sensor
Perform complex analyses on rotating parts with Optel-Texys solutions
Texys’ DNA is to offer high-end sensing technologies, with the most compact packaging, designed to withstand the most extreme conditions. In that light, we are proud to offer a wide range of sensors, in particular high-performance optical sensors from our subsidiary OPTEL-TEXYS.
Embedded by design
Optel-Texys sensors are designed for the on-board analysis of rotating phenomena. To perform complex analyses on rotating parts, using fiber optic angular velocity sensors from the 152 series is your best bet. We want to highlight the 152 G7-E, which has arguments that can meet your requirements for the most demanding applications.
This embedded optical speed sensor can detect rotating objects by automatically adjusting its settings. Moreover, the 152G7-E is lightweight, ruggedized & compact, thanks to an anodized aluminium alloy housing. This speed sensor operates between -10 and +70°C, and has a frequency range of up to 300 kHz. It also has a special protection against brief short circuits.
The 152G7-E is a top versatile sensor which can be installed in tight spaces, designed for use in vehicles, on tracks, and on test benches. With its simple installation and easy setup, it is a very convenient sensor which will make you save a lot of your precious time. In that sense, you are able to manage the installation and distance between the sensor and the probe.
Time-saving solution
Thanks to its automatic & continuous adjustment, it is time-saving sensor on a bench or measurement room. This feature allows you a very comfortable adjustment of sensor. The auto-trigger & auto-adjustment functionalities are new compared to traditional Optel sensors. Additionally, this sensor provides you with a secure data acquisition.
Performance-wise, the 152G7-E can adapt to many environments, it will provide detection regardless of the light level. You can also measure with up to 10mm of measuring distance between probe and target.
Measurement conditions change according to the test phase - e.g. on a moving shaft, moving parts will be detected all the time. During a road or track test, the 152G7-E is ready to adapt to changing conditions.
This miniaturized sensor is designed to be embedded and its optimized size makes it a tremendous asset for your on-board measurements.
