Tonhe Technology at Power2Drive Europe 2026: Powering Europe's EV Charging Future with Next-Generation Charging Modules

Powering the Next Chapter of Europe's EV Charging Transition

Powering the Next Chapter of Europe's EV Charging Transition
Europe stands at the forefront of the global energy transition, and electric mobility sits at the heart of that transformation. From June 23 to 25, 2026, Tonhe Technology joins more than 800 Chinese innovators and over 3,000 exhibitors from 57 countries at The Smarter E Europe 2026, held across 19 halls and 200,000 square meters at Messe München in Munich. Among the four co-located exhibitions—Intersolar, EES, EM-Power, and Power2Drive—Tonhe Technology is proud to present its latest generation of EV charging modules, DC/DC converters, V2G modules, and complete system solutions at Booth C6.240.

The Power2Drive exhibition brings together the brightest minds in e-mobility infrastructure. Tonhe Technology, founded in 1998 and a pioneer in new-energy power electronics since 2007, is the only company in the industry with full in-house, end-to-end production capability for EV charging power modules. That heritage of vertical integration and two decades of power-conversion expertise shaped the products on display in Munich this year.

Why Europe, Why Now: Policy Tailwinds Reshaping the Charging Market
Europe's new-energy market has moved from early adoption into a phase defined by technology upgrade, industrial quality improvement, and large-scale infrastructure buildout. In 2026 alone, the European Union and its member states released a wave of supportive policies that are reshaping demand for high-efficiency charging modules:

EU Industrial Accelerator Act (March 2026) — Proposed requirements covering new energy vehicles, photovoltaics, and energy-storage batteries, combined with measures to support European industrial development through public procurement, government subsidies, and stricter carbon-credit rules for automakers.
Germany's EV Subsidy Program (January 2026) — A targeted incentive plan supporting low-income households in the transition to electric mobility. €3 billion in funding will support up to 800,000 vehicles through 2029, with up to €6,000 in subsidies for pure battery-electric vehicles and up to €4,500 for plug-in hybrids.
Netherlands SPULA Program (January 2026) — €14.5 million allocated in 2026 to subsidize up to 20% of qualified costs for companies and organizations installing publicly accessible charging infrastructure for heavy-duty EVs such as trucks and buses.
17 new-energy policies released across the EU in 2026, including major initiatives in Iceland, Spain, and Sweden.
For European charging-point operators, power-electronics integrators, and electrical-equipment companies planning to enter the EV charging business, this is the moment to lock in compliant, future-proof, and high-efficiency charging module supply. Tonhe Technology is ready to support that ambition.

What's New from Tonhe Technology at Power2Drive 2026
Tonhe Technology brought a complete portfolio of EU-compliant EV charging modules and turnkey system solutions to Munich, designed specifically for European grid characteristics, certification requirements, and end-use scenarios.

1. 80kW Charging Module — First-Ever Overseas Debut
The headline launch at Power2Drive 2026 is the first-ever overseas unveiling of Tonhe Technology's 80kW charging module. Built for next-generation high-power charging stations, this new platform delivers:

Peak efficiency ≥ 97.5% — among the highest in the industry at this power level
Zero-power-consumption standby design for ultra-low idle losses
Proprietary double-sided fully-potted protection, validated for harsh-environment reliability
Optimized thermal and electrical design for high-power charging-pile integration
The 80kW module drew strong attention on the show floor and reinforces Tonhe Technology's leadership in high-power, high-efficiency power conversion.

2. 40/50kW Same-Form-Factor Modules — Designed for European Non-Residential Charging
For non-residential charging infrastructure in Europe, Tonhe Technology introduced its Class A-compliant 40kW and 50kW modules in a unified form factor. Both models are CE-certified by TÜV SÜD and share the same outline, enabling operators to streamline R&D, simplify certification, and accelerate project deployment.

Key specifications:

Peak efficiency ≥ 97.3%
Same outline for 40kW and 50kW — drop-in upgrade path
Class A noise compliance for non-residential installations
TÜV SÜD CE certificate — fully aligned with EU market access requirements
3. 30/40kW Same-Form-Factor Modules — Dual-Certified for Europe and North America
For residential-area charging infrastructure, Tonhe Technology showcased its 30kW and 40kW same-form-factor modules compliant with Class B standards. A standout feature is the dual CE + cTUVus certification from TÜV, which means a single SKU can be deployed in both Europe and the United States.

Key specifications:

Peak efficiency ≥ 97.3%
Operating noise as low as 60dB — high efficiency with low acoustic footprint
Automatic 400VAC / 480VAC adaptation — supports both EU 3-phase and North American split-phase grid environments
CE and cTUVus dual certification — one module, two continents, lower compliance cost
This is the ideal solution for global charging networks looking to harmonize hardware platforms across regions.

4. 30/40kW DC/DC Modules and 40kW V2G Modules — Built for PV-Storage-Charging Scenarios
Europe's energy landscape is increasingly multi-modal, combining solar generation, battery storage, charging, and discharging. Tonhe Technology presented its 30/40kW DC/DC modules and 40kW V2G (Vehicle-to-Grid) module to support these integrated energy scenarios.

Key features:

Ultra-low noise of 55dB — quiet enough for residential and light-commercial settings
Peak efficiency ≥ 98% for DC/DC modules
Bidirectional V2G capability — enables EVs to feed energy back to the grid
Designed for PV + storage + charging + discharging applications to maximize renewable-energy utilization and protect the environment
5. Complete CCS2 Charging-Pile Solutions for the European Market
For European integrators and power-electrical companies looking to enter the charging business quickly, Tonhe Technology also exhibited complete CCS2 charging-pile solutions. Powered by Tonhe Technology's self-developed main controller and SECC module, these solutions help local European electrical-equipment companies rapidly deploy new charging businesses and expand their commercial footprint.
