NEW APLINK HRX EQUIPMENT! UBS launches High Resolution Inkjet Printer at Grayscale

Take coding to the next level, direct printing on any surface

United Barcode Systems, after more than 25 years of experience in the packaging industry, has launched the new High Resolution Inkjet printer, APLINK HRX.

This equipment has been conceived to revolutionize the market, designed for direct marking on all types of surfaces. APLINK HRX Series introduces to the market the Grayscale concept that, together with its 180 and 360 dpi printheads, improves the definition and native resolution of the printers we were used to seeing.

The new APLINK HRX model completes the APLINK range of UBS, where you can already find other High Resolution printers, APLINK MRX and APLINK LCX.

The APLINK HRX printer has an answer for everything! It has been created to improve coding performance on porous and non-porous surfaces. This new line is designed to print texts, images, logos, symbols and all types of barcodes 100% readable and compatible with GS1 standards (GTIN13, GTIN14, GS1-128, GS1 Datamatrix, etc.).

The 5 main benefits of the new APLINK HRX equipment are:

1.- High Resolution Grayscale Inkjet Printer to print directly on any surface, up to speeds of 250m/min.

2.- Flex Integration System. It allows the print-head to rotate on its 3 axes to print in side, top or tilt position (from 0º to 90º) fast and easy.

3.- Contrast Per Element. Regulates the contrast applied to each element of the print, making it possible to highlight some areas of the message more than others.

4.- Display HMI 7" or 10". For a greater comfort, it is possible to remove the controller from the printer’s body and place it anywhere on the production line.

5.- Peripheral connections. Connect encoders, beacons or UVLED Curing System; link printers or communicate APLINK HRX Series with any item in the line.

Doubts that many customers have:

- How do you manage to reduce ink consumption? Thanks to "Contrast per Element", which regulates the contrast applied to each element of the printout, making it possible to print more or less ink in the different areas of the message.

Is it possible to print in different positions? Yes, the "Flex Integration System" allows to rotate the head on its 3 axes to print in side, top or tilt position.

Can the equipment communicate with my production line? Of course, thanks to the connection of peripherals and its new communication protocol.
