UNIMOTION Linear motor LMCA

The new, UNIMOTION linear motor on stock, showcase an excellent compact design with top benefits.

A FEW WORDS ABOUT THE NEW LINEAR MOTORS

Linear motors are the latest addition to our main UNIMOTION sales program. In 2021 we developed a brand new generation of linear motors that offer an outstanding price-performance ratio and other functional benefits. UNIMOTION linear motors are ideal for a variety of applications such as actuators, robots, XYZ tables, positioning, assembly, tool machines, P&P machines, fiber optic machines, and many others. The main advantage of UNIMOTION linear motors is the force density, which is 30–50 % higher compared to other competitors on the market, while still retaining a very low cogging force. Thanks to our innovative design and state-of-the-art materials, we can now offer our customers the industry-leading linear motor on the market. Our linear motors come in different sizes and versions. Additionally, we offer two-speed types for each motor version. Our UNIMOTION linear motor solutions offer air cooling and as mentioned already, a very high force density, which is achieved with a compact design. Last but not least, the Hall sensor offers an easy drive integration and a 'Free wake & shake' feature. Learn more about our new linear motors below.

Key benefits:

• High force density 30 – 50 % higher compared to other competitors on the market

• Low cogging force

• High and low-speed version

• A/D hall sensor that enables a 'Free wake & shake' feature

• Multiple linear motor sizes

• High-performance magnet plates

Unimotion linear motors LMCA were awarded the prestigious 2022 German Design Award

The innovative Unimotion linear motors LMCA showcase an excellent compact design awarded with the prestigious 2022 German Design Award by the German Design Council.

Three linear motor sizes (30,60,90) and four versions (S,M,L, and XL)

LMCA 30 is the smallest design in the linear motors family, suitable for applications with light payloads, where high speeds and accelerations are required. The middle section represents the LMCA 60 which offers high dynamics and a great speed-to-force ratio. Lastly, the strongest in the family is the LMCA 90 that is primarily used in applications where axial force demands are the highest.

Each of the motors is available in different versions.

LMCA 30 ━ S, M, L

LMCA 60 ━ S, M, L, XL

LMCA 90 ━ S, M, L, XL

Key benefits:

• 11 different types

• High & low-speed version

Two types of magnetic plates, compatible with all the linear motors

We offer a classic magnet plate and an innovative high-performance magnet plate, which offers a higher force density and also boosts the continuous and peak forces by 11% higher compared to the classic magnet plate.

Key benefits:

• Three different magnet plate lengths

• Standard and high-performance magnet plates

Hall effect sensor

UNIMOTION offers a Hall sensor which was specifically developed for the LMCA linear motors. The sensor utilizes existing magnet feedback which allows an unmatched accuracy to price ratio. The main advantage is the integration of analog and digital sensors into one housing. A combination of both enables a 'Free wake & shake' feature.

Our Hall sensor can be used for a cost-effective solution when the position accuracy demands are not very high. Hall sensor enables easy and precise mounting, which results in an ideal alignment of the sensors and motor windings.

Key benefits:

• 'Free wake & shake' feature

• Analog &digital output
