Field Study and Methodology for In-Situ Rotor Balancing with Balanset-1A System
This paper presents a comprehensive field study examining the application of portable dynamic balancing methodology for agricultural combine harvester rotating assemblies. The research documents systematic vibration reduction procedures across multiple rotor configurations including threshing drums (≤1000 RPM), longitudinal rotors, straw chopper assemblies (3000-4000 RPM), and auxiliary components. Utilizing Balanset-1A dual-plane vibrometry equipment, the study demonstrates significant reduction in operational vibration amplitudes, extended bearing service life, and prevention of structural fatigue failures through precise mass distribution correction.
