Magnetic pulse sensors
Rotary speed sensors for industrial applications
Magnetic pulse encoders are suitable for the contact-free probing of solid steel measures. These can be: Gears or toothed rods, slotted discs or grooved bands, screw heads or milled structures.
Pulse encoders are designed for applications in the harshest of industrial environments.
The modular design principle of the pulse encoders with respect to housing, connection technology and signal electronics permits optimum solutions in accordance with concrete application requirements.
Advantages
Measuring frequency: 0 Hz to 30 kHz
Direction detection
Signal type: Open-Collector NPN or PNP, Push-Pull, TTL, HTL and the like
Current capacity optionally up to 200 mA
Working temperature -40 … 150 °C
High temperature fluctuation resistance
Pressure-resistant up to 500 bar
Stable against dynamic pressure changes
High electromagnetic interference resistance
Very low sensitivity to external magnetic interference
Resistant to oils, salts, alkalis, acids
Suitable for industrial cleaning with water or steam blasting
High vibration and shock resistance
Applications
Position determination, recording and monitoring of speed (RPM, stoppage), direction of rotation, e.g. for:
Drives
Electric vehicles (e.g. floor conveyors)
Marine engines
