The company is located in the industrial park of Qipanjing Town, Wuhai, Inner Mongolia. It is mainly engaged in the production and sales of calcium carbide, caustic soda, PVC and cement, the sales of liquid chlorine and acid, and the import and export of products, equipment and technical services required by the enterprise.

In July 2020, there was a single horizonal tank of this company that needed to be installed with a level transmitter. The magnetic flap level meter and differential pressure level meter were used on the tank, and the magnetic one was often stuck in operation, so that only the differential pressure level meter could operate. In order to improve the safety management level of the tank farm and install SIS system, there were at least two kinds of continuous liquid level meters with different principles for major hazard sources to meet the requirements of safety supervision. After market research, the company noticed that the DHE’s non-contact level transmitters were easy to install and there was no need to drill on tanks and use flame during operation. Meanwhile, they had acquired the SIL3 certificate. Therefore, the company decided to purchased one non-contact level transmitter which is still stable and can satisfy the company’s requirements.
